I’ve been where you are. I hit rock bottom several years ago.
After earning my Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Studies in 2003, I chose to be a stay-at-home mom for our now 6 kids. Somewhere in the middle of stay-at-home parenting journey, I hit rock bottom. I felt exhausted, depleted and overwhelmed by the never-ending to-do list and not being a “good enough” wife and mom. Our marriage was pretty, too.
During that time I’d often get down on myself and think, “I suck! I’m a loser!” Me-time was a vague memory from the past and I felt fragmented and stretched thin. I had forgotten who I really was and had no clue what my purpose was.
I began a journey to learn the secrets of the world’s happiest, most positive women and to learn to love myself. After lots of research, observation and my own trial & error, I created a step-by-step formula for meeting my own emotional needs and living a vibrant, happy life – even when life gets hard.
