Happy Bit: Changing Your Story
Have you heard of “reticular activating system”? We have that in our brains. Our brains focus in on the things that are important to us. So, start telling your self positive stories. Turn those stories, the stories we tell ourselves that does not serve us in anyway, into something positive. And see how your life will turn around.
Some Inspirational Thoughts:
“I am not supportive.”
“My spouse is thoughtless.”
“People do not invite me.”
“I do not fit in.”
“My children are difficult.”
And on and on and on. Sometimes these beliefs has been with us from our childhoods. But the fact is, when we challenge this and start to turn them around to something more positive, we will be happier.
So, a challenge for you, find those stories that you tell yourself and turn them around to something that would be more positive. And see what happens.
